Our best-selling Signature Big Shirt has been thoughtfully revisited and reimagined, bringing our timeless Big Shirt Dress into fruition. Inspired by the same ease and freedom of the original, it’s cut long with an open, flowing silhouette that moves with you through the day. Mother-of-pearl buttons from top to bottom, hidden side seam pockets for the small things we carry, and a hidden, functional roll tab to keep sleeves cuffed securely.
It’s the kind of piece you can throw on without thinking. Easy for mornings at the farmer’s market, romantic dinners, and everything in between. Wear it buttoned as a dress or layer it over denim, tees, and swimsuits. It literally works for everything and every season, which we love to intentionally integrate into part of our garments within Dancing Kind. Our Big Shirt Dress was also created to be lived in and loved for years to come.
This piece has been made in much smaller quantities. Once this run is complete, we will open a preorder for whichever fabric we are able to bring back to Dancing Kind. When it comes back, we will showcase it on diverse bodies.

Handwash and hang to dry recommended. However, it can also be washed on delicate with tumble dry low. We proudly designed our Big Shirt Dress directly in partnership with a family-owned team of artisans based in Jaipur, India.
